I’ve left words everywhere- where birds sing, in the sky.
I've made a map of the future so we can remember.
I need words. Words to help me, to guide me, to give me some kind of structure.
Bigger words.
Words that are easy to read.
Ones I can find quickly.
Ones I can trust under my fingers and hold onto,
the words that help me keep going and figure out
the right direction.
Yes is a good word.
So is discipline, order. Steadiness.
Accountability.
Understanding.
Help, assistance, support.
All the words that are able
to make something happen.
Endurance. Kindness.
Grace.
Ability, growth.
Learning.
Trust
how this creates traction and momentum
towards you becoming
wild and
knowing.
Part of my creative process explores what I know is possible and have yet to know how. I began to explore and learn digital bookmaking and the practice of keeping a digital sketchbook that also included paper and line and marks; fonts made by hand.
Loosen Up is this journey, part sketchbook part poetry.
